Landscape & Architectural Photography
Landscape and architectural photography allow me to capture the character of a place—both the natural world and the structures people create within it. I am drawn to scenes with strong light, interesting lines, dramatic skies, textures, patterns, and a sense of depth that invites the viewer into the image.
With landscape photography, I look for the moments when light, weather, and location come together to transform a scene. Mountains, rivers, deserts, coastlines, forests, open roads, and wide Texas skies all offer something different. Some images are carefully planned around sunrise, sunset, or changing weather, while others come from simply being in the right place and noticing what is happening around me.
Photography has become an important part of the way I travel and explore. Many of my landscape images are created during road trips, camping trips, hikes, and visits to state parks and remote areas. I enjoy finding viewpoints that show both the scale and atmosphere of a location, while still including the smaller details that give the scene its own personality.
Architectural photography offers a different kind of exploration. Buildings, bridges, historic structures, interiors, and city environments are filled with geometry, symmetry, repetition, texture, and light. I enjoy looking beyond the obvious view and finding compositions that highlight the design and character of a structure.
Whether photographing a historic building, a modern cityscape, a quiet rural structure, or a dramatic natural landscape, my goal is to create images that communicate what it felt like to stand there. I want the viewer to notice the light, the scale, the details, and the relationship between the environment and the structures within it.
This gallery brings together those two perspectives—the landscapes shaped by nature and the architecture shaped by people. Each photograph is part of my continuing effort to explore new places, study light and composition, and capture the beauty and character of the world around us.
